HISTORIA
"En el mundo de Daikuuriku todo el mundo nace mujer, pero escoge su sexo definitivo a los 17 años. En este mundo, el gobierno mantiene la paz de Simulacrum mediante máquinas mágicas que vuelan, llamadas “Simoun”, que son pilotadas por chicas jóvenes que todavía no han determinado su sexo. El Simoun puede activar un poder mágico llamado “Ri Maajon” que causaría la destrucción de un elevado número de enemigos.
Cuando la industrializada nación de Argentum decide que necesita invadir Simulacrum, para adquirir el secreto de los Simouns, estalla un violenta confrontación; arrastrando a los Simoun “Sibyllae” (Simouns pilotados por sacerdotisas) a la encarnizada batalla. En el fervor de la batalla, los Sibyllae garantizan la elección permanente del sexo para proteger a los combatientes de la guerra.
Aaeru, una decidida joven Sibylla con un misterioso pasado, y Neviril, líder de la “Chor Tempest”, que forman parte de la élite del escuadrón Simulacrum, deberán conducir y proteger a sus compañeras sacerdotisas hacia el enfrentamiento dejando a un lado sus diferencias personales."
