Kouichi Hayase estuvo involucrado en un accidente y cae en coma por 6 meses. Debido al accidente el se vuelve depresivo y solitario.
Sin embargo, sin saberlo obtuvo un gran poder y tres años despues un robot gigante (Linebarrel), que fue el causante del accidente, aparece frente a él, lo que causa que la vida de Kouichi cambie.
