[ SINOPSIS ]

La vida de una joven sombrerera llamada Sophie cambió completamente cuando una bruja la convirtió en vieja. Incapaz de presentarse así en su casa, Sophie huye buscando la forma de volver a ser joven. Por el camino, Sophie ayuda a un espantapájaros, que como agradecimiento la lleva al castillo flotante del mago Howl. Allí se hace amiga del aprendiz Marker, del demonio de fuego Calucifer, y con el tiempo, del propio Howl. Sophie se queda en el castillo como limpiadora, en un intento de encontrar una solución a su problema y salvar a Howl de sus terribles secretos.
