Azul en momentos de tristeza, tal vez Rosa en esos instantes de ternura, Rojo en compañía de una furia incontenible, un toque de Blanco para esos momentos de tranquilidad... nuestras vidas van y vienen en un infinito espectro, aunque pocas ocasiones nos percatamos de ello, de los vibrantes tonos y matices que nos rodean.
Sin embargo, existen seres que portan un extraordinario don: poder sentir la vida a través de sus colores más puros, una sensibilidad que los marca tan profundamente que les resulta difícil expresarse con meras palabras.
Seres taciturnos y discretos, tan discretos, que podemos vivir a su lado sin reconocerlos... justo como Sora Kajiwara.
De nuevo ingreso en la preparatoria de una pequeña ciudad, la tímida Sora tiene grandes dudas sobre su futuro, pero lo que más le preocupa es tener que elegir un club para después de clases; sin embargo, cuando por accidente esta somnolienta joven termina en el salón del club de arte, las circunstancias obligan a Sora a elegir el camino del papel y el lápiz.
